• Accepts multiple layers of paint without deterioration
Hot-Pressed
The hot-pressed version offers a smooth surface (satiné) that excels in:
• Detailed architectural and botanical illustrations
• Fine line work and precise brushstrokes
• Creating sharp edges and clean lifts
• Supporting mixed media applications
Rough
The Baohong Classic rough (grain torchon) version offers:
• Pronounced hills and valleys in the paper surface
• More prominent texture than the cold-pressed version
• Shows visible grain even from a distance
• Creates natural texture effects even with smooth wash.
