Horadam Liquid Charcoal Trio Liquid Earth

The Schmincke Liquid Earth Trio Set 3 x 5ml includes all three colours in the range; Liquid Chalk, Liquid Umber and Liquid Sanguine.

Schmincke Liquid Earth are a range of water-soluble natural earth colours that allow a mess and dust-free way to work with charcoal. With a formula based on natural pigments mined regionally in Germany, they make an exciting addition to your drawing and painting toolkit.

These colours are bound in Gum Arabic - like a traditional watercolour and gouache paints - so allow you to work with earth colours in vast washes and painterly strokes. Much like watercolour, they can be diluted to various strengths to achieve a range of textures and thicknesses. Once dry, they can also be smeared and smudged like traditional charcoal, or even lifted with water. Use alone or combine with your favourite pencils or sketching sticks. They can even be used for underpaintings in both oil and acrylics.

Please note that due to the nature of the products as pigments, minimal colour variations may occur between different batches.
